FGAE North West Area office is established in the year 1980 GC. During this year (2021), the area office has deployed a total of 71 staffs /employees, of which 32 (45%) were female, while the remaining 39 (55%) were male. From this 35 are clinical professionals and 36 are non-clinical staffs.

FGAE North West Area Office is located in the North West Area Office of Amahara Region and Operates in North Gondar, West Gondar, Central Gondar, South Gondar, East Gojjam, West Gojjam, Awi Zone and Bahirdar Especial Zone.
North West Area Office has been providing integrated SRH services to the community, with Five static clinics (BDMC, DMSRHC, Gondar SRH Clinic, BYC, GYC & BD SWCC] 62 Family Health Network Clinics and 52 health centers, hospitals and university clinics which are aimed to access to SRH services needs of the community, the underserved youth and rural women.
