Corporate Communication and Public Relations

The Corporate Communication and Public Relations Unit has a wide range of internal and external communication activities that may include increasing organizational visibility, public awareness, planning events, creating contents, relationship buildings and managing organization reputation. It is accountable to the Executive Director.

The Corporate Communication and Public Relations follows the two way symmetrical approaches to make effective communication between Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia and its publics.

Major Activities

  • Build, manage and maintain multi -stakeholder relationships
  • build and enhance organizational reputation and visibility
  • Organize and participate on national and international events
  • Produce and disseminate different publications
  • Organizing press conference and panel discussions
  • Create and manage media relations
  • Manage and update the website and social media platforms
  • Diffuse reliable, accurate, credible and up to date information
  • Increase relationships through Corporate Social Responsibility
  • Promote mutual understanding between organization and partners
  • Organize advocacy campaigns
  • Enhancing organization brand
  • Raise public awareness about the organization
  • Promote organizational services and best practices
  • Monitor and respond to changes in the external environment
  • Maintaining effective working environments within the organization
  • Cooperate and coordinate stalk holders to achieve organizational goals
  • Identify organizational priorities and shares organizational information
