Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia (FGAE) has organized blood donation event on July 17/2020 at the Head Office in collaboration with volunteer staffs and clients. Millions of lives are saved each year through blood transfusions. However, in most developing countries, including in Ethiopia people’s still die due to inadequate supply of blood and blood products. Blood and its products are crucial inputs for most medical procedures and services such as surgery, trauma care and therapeutic interventions. Blood transfusion for under risk people in hospitals becomes the most challenging problem for health professionals to save lives. A single unit of blood can save the life of critical patient who is under sever conditions and in need of additional blood. The Head office staffs, Addis Ababa Area office staffs and clients have donated blood for the Ethiopia Blood Bank. Volunteers have passed their messages for other similar organization to have such kind of life saving activities and blood donation experiences.
