FGAE established the WISH2 National Steering Committee on June 27, 2025, which comprises consortium members and key SRH partners. The primary objective of forming this committee is to oversee, offer strategic guidance, and support the rollout, scale-up, and implementation of the WISH2 Programme, with the Ministry of Health (MOH) taking a leading role. Additionally, this committee functions as a technical advisory body for IPPF/FGAE and implementing partners, providing inputs on work plans, needs assessments, best practices, policies, and guidelines.

The meeting was graced by distinguished individuals such as Professor Sileshi Garoma, State Minister Advisor; Dr. Alemayehu Hunduma, MOH RMNCH Lead; Sarah Harvey-Kelly, Health Advisor at the British Embassy; Abok Barnabas, IPPF WISH2 Deputy Director; Dr. Birhan Demeke, FGAE President; consortium partners; and invited SRH partners
