In collaboration with The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) Social Enterprise Hub (based out of Sri Lanka, FPA) FGAE starts Consultative Meeting/Discussion and Training
The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) Social Enterprise Hub provides technical support, training, and guidance on developing and scaling FGAE’s social enterprise initiatives. This engagement aims to strengthen FGAE’s efforts toward sustainability by exploring innovative business models and operational frameworks.
The program is structured into two major categories:
• Mission Briefing, Facility Visits, Financial Analysis, and Discussions (04 – 06 November 2024)
• Orientation Trainings on SE-related Themes (09 – 11 November 2024)
• Closing Discussion with FGAE ED and SMT (12 November 2024)
The above major categories/activities aim to strengthen FGAE’s Social Enterprise (SE) initiatives by combining facility visits, observations, discussions, and targeted capacity building. Insights gathered from facility visits, observations, and discussions will directly inform the SE Hub team to identify, design, and deliver the orientation training on SE.
IPPF Social Enterprise Hub experts will provide an overview of existing FGAE SE initiatives and practices, facilitate discussions to identify opportunities, challenges, and recommendations for enhancing FGAE SE activities, and lay the groundwork for informed and context-specific training.
