FGAE starts a new partnership with Population Service International (PSI)

FGAE practitioner Dr Wasihun Redda has participated on learning visit in Uganda which was held from December 2-6, 2024.  The visits focuses on :-

  • To understand the policies and implementation guidelines that influenced the introduction and scale-up of self-care interventions, with a particular focus on DMPA-SC self-injection.

To gain insights into how Uganda structured its introduction and scale-up process, including the roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders and partners. Ethiopia’s MoH will gather lessons learned, best practices, and the necessary resources required for successful implementation.

  • To learn from Uganda’s experience with the revision and adoption of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) tools, as well as the revision of their HMIS, specifically focusing on DMPA-SC SI.
