FGAE participated in the 27Tth Ethiopian Ministry of Health’s Annual Review Meeting (ARM), held in Jimma town from October 22–24, 2025.
Led by the Minister of Health, the meeting brought together stakeholders to assess sector performance, share best practices, and set the Ministry’s top priorities for the coming years.
The key focus areas highlighted by the Ministry include:
1.Sustainable Health Finance: Expanding CBHI and exploring other innovative financing models.
2. Improving Primary Health Care: Enhancing early detection and response through innovations like AI and home care.
3. Digitization: Accelerating the health sector’s digitization agenda, acknowledging its high-level attention despite a late start.
4. Health Workforce Development.
5. Self-Reliance: Boosting local manufacturing by focusing on the pharmaceutical industry and addressing bottlenecks.
