Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia (FGAE) has put its “Green Legacy” on July 16/2020 at Bethel Area that can complement the five Billion seedling plantation of Ethiopian Government Afforestation program in this fiscal year. The Government of Ethiopia has started the afforestation campaign as a national movement to alleviate the climate change challenges and related balances of the nature of Ethiopia. . FGAE is one of the members of Population, Health and Environment Ethiopia Consortium (PHE-Ethiopia Consortium), which contributes for the provision of health services and has concern on the environment and population. For this reason, keeping the environment green, comfortable and sustainable environment for living is the most crucial activities that need involvement of all nations. Based on the aforementioned issues, the Consortium has organized the “Green Legacy” plantation campaign by the contribution of each member organizations. Therefore, FGAE staffs have planted Mango, Orange and other non- fruit plants on the given area.
