FGAE Addis Ababa Area Office Launches Integrated SMART START, IUCD Scale-Up, and DMPA-SI in Addis Ababa
The Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia (FGAE) Addis Ababa Area Office in collaboration with Addis Ababa Health Bureau and PSI- Ethiopia launched the Integrated SMART START, IUCD Scale-Up, and DMPA-SI during a workshop at the Ethiopia Hotel in Addis Ababa on June 5, 2025, aimed at enhancing family planning services for young women. The event featured keynote addresses from Mr. Gebeyehu Mekonnen (Vice President of FGAE), Sr. Fantanesh Desalegne (Ministry of Health), Mrs. Sindu (Addis Ababa Health Bureau), and Mrs. Lidia Birhanu (Population Services International), with closing remarks delivered by Dr. Alemayehu Hunduma (Ministry of Health) and the program moderated by Sr. Aster Leta.
