DIRE DAWA-The Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia (FGAE) announced that it is providing comprehensive HIV/AIDS preventions services to save the vulnerable society from the virus.
The Association’s executives and SRH Media team visited FGAE Eastern Area Office Dire Dawa Confidential Clinic and commemorated world HIV/AIDS day 2022 with a theme “Fair and Accessible HIV/AIDS Service”.
On the event , FGAE President Betelhem Taye said that providing basic HIV/AIDS prevention services to the vulnerable society helps to limit the virus’s expansion and save others from new infections.
Increasing the regular treatment services is important to attain the objectives of the virus’s prevention process, she noted.
According to her, the Dire Dawa Confidential Clinic provides free HIV/AIDS treatment and counseling services to create more awareness among the commercial sex workers.
On his part, FGAE Eastern Area Office Manager Eyasu Amentie said that the area office is undertaking coordinated efforts to curtail the virus expansion among youths and women as well as mobilize the society to practice effective family planning.
Meanwhile, Dire Dawa HIV/AIDS prevention Office Representative Yehualashet Wudneh said that FGAE’s services in Dire Dawa plays a significant role to promote a healthy and productive society.
He commended the association for its unreserved services and underscored to continue the virus protection and family planning services.
There office is always willing to cooperate with the association and build a healthy society together, he said.
Other participants of the event also expressed their commitment to support the association’s effective HIV/AIDS prevention and family planning services.
