The Family Guidance Association of Ethiopia (FGAE) is a not-for-profit organization providing Sexual and Reproductive Health and related client-based services across Ethiopia. Currently, medical and client data management relies largely on manual and semi-digital systems, which result in data inconsistency, limited accessibility, confidentiality risks, and time-consuming reporting processes. To overcome these challenges, FGAE plans to implement an integrated and automated EMR/CMIS platform.
The purpose of this bid is to engage a qualified and experienced firm to design, develop, and implement a secure, user-friendly, and interoperable Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) and Client Management Information System (CMIS). The system is expected to strengthen data management practices, improve service delivery, and support system-driven, evidence-based decision-making.
Key objectives of the assignment include:
- Establishing an automated and integrated EMR / CMIS platform
- Improving data accuracy, security, and confidentiality
- Enhancing reporting, record-keeping, and decision-support capabilities
