Breast Exam and Screening Services | Early Detection Saves Lives

Schedule your breast exam for early detection and peace of mind. A breast exam is a simple physical check performed by a trained healthcare provider to look for any changes, such as lumps, swelling, or skin differences. It’s quick, safe, and confidential — and it can make all the difference in detecting problems early.

We also provide referrals for mammogram screening where available, to ensure you receive complete breast health support.

What’s the difference between a mammogram and a breast exam?

A breast exam involves feeling for changes on the surface of the breast, while a mammogram looks deeper using imaging. Both are part of breast cancer screening — a breast exam helps identify visible or felt changes, and a mammogram confirms what can’t be seen or felt.

How can I do a breast self-exam at home?

A breast self-exam helps you become familiar with how your breasts normally look and feel. Once a month, gently press around each breast and armpit area using the flat part of your fingers. If you find a lump in your breast, or notice any pain, redness, or nipple discharge, visit a clinic for a professional check.

When should I get a breast exam or mammogram?

Most people benefit from a clinical breast exam once a year.

If you’re 40 or older, your provider may recommend a mammogram every 1–2 years.

Book sooner if you notice any unusual changes — early detection is the best protection.

What are the early signs of breast cancer?

A new lump or thickening in the breast or underarm, changes in breast size or shape, dimpling or puckering of the skin, nipple discharge or tenderness.

  • If you notice any of these, visit your nearest clinic for a breast exam or mammogram referral. Most breast changes aren’t cancer — but every change deserves care.
