Project Aim
GOAL: Nutritional status of women and young children improved
Implementation Modality
Basic Package
All woredas will receive a basic investment In SBC, equipment, supplies, and training to meet basic readiness criteria
Intensive Package
Selected woredas (50%) will receive a more intensive intervention packages.These will serve as learning sites and aspirational examples for other activity woredas

Facility level interventions strategy
- Improve Quality ANC service
- IFA/MMS supplementation

- Set nutrition related standard of care / care package as per the national protocols ( Counseling on IFA adherence , SAM management etc.…)

Community level intervention
- Strengthen community engagement platform/ Establish/capacitate community Volunteers/VHL
- Strengthen OTP program
- Strengthen community –facility referral and service linkage JSS RM
- Enhance the capacity of HEWs and community volunteers
Improve community-based nutrition and health service ( PLW service, identification EANC, screening U5 & PLW, GMP, counseling….)
